LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received by the office of the Director-Secretary of the Board of Park Commissioners of GEAUGA PARK DISTRICT, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024-9148 until 10:30am local time on April 15, 2026 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read for The Rookery - West Operations Facility. Plans and Specifications for the project are available for review at the Geauga Park District Administrative Offices at 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon, OH 44024 and can be obtained by paying a non-refundable fee for printing costs at: Northeast Blueprint and Supply 1230 East 286th Street Cleveland, OH 44132 https://www.northeastblueprint.com/ 216.261.7500 Bidders must purchase as instructed above in order to submit a qualified bid. Each bidder shall submit with his bid a proposal bond or a certified check in the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of his total bid payable to Geauga Park District as surety that if said bid is accepted the bidder will enter into and satisfactorily secure a contract. The successful bidder is required to furnish within ten (10) days after written notification of bid acceptance a satisfactorily performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price payable to Geauga Park District. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. If not accepted within such period, said bid may be withdrawn. Successful bidders shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities and be subject to the prevailing wage rates as provided for in Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Board reserves the right to accept separate bids on various items or work, or to accept any combination of bids, in whole or in part. Geauga Park District may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
