Legal Notice PUBLIC NOTICE The CITY OF PAINESVILLE, OHIO will receive signed, sealed bids at the Office of the Finance Director, c/o William Parkinson, Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), April 29, 2026, for the 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing of Various Roads, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The work covered by the Contract Documents for the Base Bid includes the asphalt resurfacing of Richmond Street, from Mentor Avenue to Erie Street, South Saint Clair Street, from East Walnut Avenue to East Washington Street, and the entire lengths of Oak Street and Tiber Drive. The project consists of 0.87 miles of roadway resurfacing. The estimated construction cost for the Base Bid is $1,240,000.00 as of March 2026. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed within 60 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed, however, the final completion date is August 31, 2026. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lake County and the City of Painesville, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
