Legal Notice PUBLIC NOTICE The CITY OF PAINESVILLE, OHIO will receive signed, sealed bids at the Office of the Finance Director, c/o William Parkinson, Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), May 20, 2026, for the Painesville Skate Park, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The work covered by the Contract Documents and Plans includes the construction of a skate park located on Jefferson Street in the City of Painesville. The estimated construction cost for the Base Bid is $499,243.22 as of April 2026. The estimated cost of construction for the Base Bid plus ADD ALTERNATE is $607,145.03. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed within 120 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed, however, the substantial completion date is October 30, 2026. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lake County and the City of Painesville, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The project must also comply with the U.S. Department of Labor Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations. The higher of these two wage rates shall be paid for this project. This provision must be included in all construction contracts and subcontracts.
