Legal Notice PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS The CITY OF PAINESVILLE, OHIO will receive signed, sealed bids at the Office of the Finance Director, c/o William Parkinson, Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), July 1, 2026, for COLONIAL DRIVE BRIDGE REHABILITATION, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The project includes rehabilitation of the existing Colonial Drive bridge spanning Lake Metroparks Greenway Corridor west off of Liberty Street. Repairs include, but are not limited to, substructure retrofit, traffic and pedestrian railing repair, spreader beam replacement, approach pavement replacement, and approach sidewalk replacement. The estimated construction cost is $285,000. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed within 150 days of issuance Notice to Proceed. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lake County and the City of Painesville, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
