Legal Notice PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS The CITY OF PAINESVILLE, OHIO will receive signed, sealed bids at the Office of the Finance Director, c/o William Parkinson, Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), July 15, 2026, for the MILL STREET AND LATIMORE STREET ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The project includes full-depth reconstruction of the entire length of Mill Street and Latimore Street, approximately 1,500 feet, including subgrade stabilization, storm sewers, underdrains, concrete curbs sidewalk, driveway aprons, parking stalls and asphalt pavement. The estimated construction cost is $2,320,000. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed June 1, 2027. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lake County and the City of Painesville, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
