Legal Notice • Public Notice The CITY OF PAINESVILLE, OHIO will receive signed, sealed bids at the Office of the Finance Director, c/o William Parkinson, Painesville City Hall, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), August 13, 2026, for the Lucille Avenue Water Main Replacement, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The work covered by the Contract Documents for the Base Bid includes the Replacement of 6” Water Mains with 8” Water Mains along Lucille Ave between Chestnut and Cedarbrook Drive. The estimated construction cost is $979,000.00 as of July 2026. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed within 120 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lake County and the City of Painesville, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
