Legal Notice Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Suite 350, Chardon, Ohio 44024, for the: SERVICES CENTER WATER TREATMENT FACILITY UPGRADES - P2103 (RE-BID) DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES GEAUGA COUNTY during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, until 1:45pm (local time) on Wednesday May 20, 2026, at which time the bids shall be opened and publicly read at 2:00pm in the Commissioners Chambers. Plans and specifications can be viewed and ordered at www.neblueplanroom.com enter through Planroom/All Public Projects or by contacting Northeast Blueprint directly at (216) 261-7500. Contractors must purchase the bid documents at their own expense for a document fee of One Hundred Twenty Dollars ($120.00) payable to Northeast Blueprint for hard copies and pdf files plus shipping costs or Sixty Dollars ($60.00) payable to Northeast Blueprint for electronic download only. A receipt for the purchase of the bid packet should be included as a part of the properly submitted bid. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 7th at 1:00 pm at the Geauga County Administration Building, Room B167-B168, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Envelopes containing the bid and other required documents shall be sealed and clearly marked: “BID – GEAUGA COUNTY SERVICES CENTER WATER TREATMENT FACILITY UPGRADES – P2103 (RE-BID), Attention: Clerk, Geauga County Board of Commissioners, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Suite 350, Chardon, Ohio 44024.” Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty in the amount of 100% of the total amount bid, or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount bid, as required by R.C. 153.54. The bid bond or guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The bid bond or guaranty shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. The bond or guaranty shall meet the satisfaction of the County Prosecutor. The Geauga County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids received or any part thereof.
