Legal Notice The Lorain (Ohio) Port Authority is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQs) and intends to contract marine engineering services regarding the Port’s Black River Wharf property for the purpose of planning and designing a maritime terminal. RFQ specifications and guidelines can be received by contacting Sarah Gool at the Lorain Port Authority. Firms interested in being considered should reply with a statement of qualification no later than 1:00 PM July 27th, 2026. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. As required by Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.65 – 153.71, responding firms will be evaluated and anked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Lorain Port Authority will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firms.
