PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Workforce Development Board (LCWDB) for the Lake County Department of Job and Family Services (LCDJFS) is seeking proposals from organizations wishing to provide WorksFirst services funded by TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). Proposals are being solicited for Program Year 2026 & 2027 (PY26 & 27) running July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2028. All proposals are subject to actual funding received by LCDJFS. Full specifications and instructions are available at RFP – Ohio Means Jobs (lakecountyohio.gov). These materials are also available at the Lake Development Authority offices or by email. Four (4) copies of each completed proposal must be submitted in sealed packages marked “ATTN: PY 26 & 27 WorksFirst Proposal” addressed to Patrick Mohorcic, Executive Director, Lake County Workforce Development Board and received at 105 Main Street, Suite B501 Painesville, Ohio, 44077 no later than 12:00 Noon EST on June 1st, 2026. Any proposals not received at the designated place by the designated time and date must be rejected. The final contract will be subject to the actual funding made available for the specified activities. The RFP is being published based on the terms and conditions as they are known on May 1st, 2026. The Lake County Department of Job and Family Services and the Lake County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals; to waive informalities in the RFP; to increase or decrease or omit any or all items; to award a contract or contracts to the lowest and/or best proposer; to waive or extend proposal deadlines; and/or to negotiate with all qualified sources if in the best interest of the parties. All proposals are subject to TANF regulations, policies, and funding allocations.
